How to Garbage

If your garbage disposal is acting up and you don’t have an Allen wrench on hand, don’t worry – there are still a few things you can try to fix it. First, unplug the disposal and try manually turning the blades with a wooden spoon or other tool. If that doesn’t work, use a pair of tongs to try and remove any stuck objects from the disposal. You can also try resetting the disposal by pressing the reset button on the bottom of the unit. If none of these solutions work, it may be time to call a professional plumber
